Join our team and support our vision of delivering the right care first time, every time. **Please note this position is for current East Cheshire NHS Trust employee’s only** An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven Band 7 advanced clinical specialist Speech and Language Therapist to lead the voice service in the Adult Speech and Language Therapy Team at Macclesfield District General Hospital. The post is 0.8 wte, 30 hours a week, to be worked over Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The role will involve leading the voice service as well as acute ward work including management of clients with dysphagia who may have diverse and complex presentations. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with ENT within joint voice clinics. You will also participate in delivery of video fluoroscopy and FEES service. Enthusiastic and motivated, you will be confident liaising with a range of health care professionals. You will be innovative and able to contribute to the development of the Speech and Language Therapy Service. You will engage in staff supervision and training of others and there will be opportunities for self-development within the Trust. You will lead projects aimed at improving service delivery.
