What's involved with this role:
An HR Policy Officer is required. It is essential that you are CIPD Qualified with experience of leading the development and implementation of employment policy (preferably in public sector organisations) along with experience of researching and implementing best practice HR Strategies and Processes. You should be able to work effectively with senior managers, responding to different working styles; inspiring confidence and providing practical assistance to them when faced with difficult and sensitive organisational issues. Knowledge and understanding of the full People/HR lifecycle is essential, whilst knowledge and understanding of local Government, its functions, structures and governance would be beneficial for this role. This role is currently working remotely. NB: The salary indicated for this role is a maximum of £19.90 max per hour PAYE.
