Reporting to the Team Leader, you will support your manager to deliver a professional, end-end operational Payroll/ESR service to the clients within agreed deadlines and that all information from interfacing software systems has been uploaded and processed in order to produce accurate and prompt salary payments to all staff in accordance with all statutory, regulatory and policy requirements. You will analyse, investigate and resolve complex queries and discrepancies, including the close management of overpayments and underpayments. This is a fast paced demanding role and you will hit the ground running. You will be educated to NVQ Level 4 or equivalent or have equivalent level of payroll experience. You will also have detailed and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of NHS payroll and pensions procedures and practices, employment practices and possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
