Registered Midwives – Band 6

We are seeking motivated, compassionate and enthusiastic midwives to join our team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. Part time and full time hours are available on a permanent contract. Successful candidates will be expected to work both day and night duty including weekends and bank holidays and there will be an opportunity to rotate to all areas of the Women’s Unit and Community setting ensuring the provision of safe and effective midwifery care.

All successful applicants will need to attend Mandatory training sessions and be able to demonstrate that they are up to date with current evidence based practice and PREP requirements.

Opportunities exist for ongoing professional development and access is available to a comprehensive range of in-service and external training programs.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trust’s policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately.

If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £40. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary
