The Division of Nursing in the School of Health Sciences is one of London’s long-established providers of health care education, delivering high quality undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. It has a strong portfolio of world-leading research in the areas of child health; mental health care; people with physical health and long-term conditions; acute and critical care; and care of the older person. The Division works in partnership with service users and carers, alongside health and social care experts and providers, to develop and deliver education and research which shapes future nurse leaders. Responsibilities The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high quality undergraduate and postgraduate education in Children’s Nursing and associated programmes and activities across the School. Experience in acute child nursing skills in venepuncture, cannulation and advanced skills, is desirable. The role involves supporting students in practice and working with placement provider organisations to ensure high quality learning experiences.
Person Specification The appointed candidate will have a higher degree in a relevant health or social science discipline, registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Children’s Nurse and a relevant teaching qualification, or a willingness to qualify.
