Quorn are currently seeking a Packaging Technologist to join our team our growing R&D team to be based between our sites in Leeds & Stokesley. The Role This position will play a key role in the development and maintenance of packaging for the Quorn & Cauldron brands, supported by all the packaging related business systems. You will provide the business with all packaging related requirements for other project types including NPD, Innovation, Value Engineering, Process & Product Improvement. Our packaging team are expected to provide full support for various NPD initiatives, the development & launches of new SKU's, the design to print process and finally technical support for procurement initiatives. You will oversee & support across various projects within this space as we continue to grow. The successful applicant will have: Previous packaging development experience within an FMCG environment Excellent communication & interpersonal skills Highly organised but with a flexible approach to cope with a busy department with demanding and sometimes conflicting deadlines Excellent attention to detail, be able to challenge & appropriately deal with unexpected occurrences and identify patterns & errors in information Competent IT skills, good knowledge of key MS programmes including Adobe & PowerPoint & Excel Ideally hold experience with SAP and/or Hamilton Grant but not essential Ideally present experience with CAPELITE or similar palletisation software A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet – you don’t have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn!
