As part of a fast paced team the position of Support Officer (Water) sits within Service Support and is an essential part of supporting Regional Delivery Accommodation as a whole. This is a busy post processing and managing payment of utility billing for Service Family Accommodation. With upcoming changes to the way utility bills are managed this is a good opportunity for a dynamic forward thinking person to be involved in the setting up and management of new processes.

This is a key role in the delivery of utility billing which includes checking utility bills for accuracy of information along with processing and payment of bills. Liaising with customers and suppliers along with archiving of paid bills. Working to agreed timescales the Support Officer (Water) should be able to work independently providing information at short notice and will be required to undertake associated administration tasks as instructed by the Line Manager along with any other duties required appropriate to the grade. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, management of priorities, problem solving along with good written and verbal communication skills are needed within this role.

Experience using Microsoft Programmes and Office 365 is encouraged although not Essential.

Processing Daily Incoming post Assessing and Actioning relevant Bills Liaising with other Teams across DIO, and Subcontractors Utility Companies and Customers Maintaining Information Logs relating to Properties Manage and input data into British Gas Portal Processing Refunds Manage Archiving Process for Bills
Essential Experience
Demonstrating experience of Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Employment Hours
The post advertised is for 37 hours net, however the Ministry of Defence offers a range of flexibilities to enable a better work-life balance for employees. Flexible working, Part-time working and Job Share working patterns will be considered.
