Experienced *male Rehabilitation Support Worker required for a gentleman who has a brain injury living in the Essex area. To work in a rehabilitation and support role for a client who has sustained a brain injury. You will enable the client to lead as fulfilling a life as possible, maximising his physical and psychological well-being and safety at all times giving help and assistance with all activities of daily living. This will include driving and accompanying the client to therapy appointments, the Mosque, the gym and other locations as he requires. Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible and has previous care / support experience in a similar role with clients who have sustained a brain injury or other neurological condition. Working hours: 25 hours, 20 hours on weekdays and 5 hours at the weekend subject to the client’s needs. Rates of pay: £13.50 per hour Monday to Friday, £15.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training. All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
