Delivering exceptional quality and striving for complete customer satisfaction, Glendale delivers an unparalleled portfolio of services:Grounds management - MUST be able to carry out the initial set out and marking of a variety of sports pitches incl Football and Athletics.Winter GrittingVegetation controlArboricultureLandscapingSupply of plants and semi-mature treesCleansing servicesWoodland managementGolf managementEstate managementOur Nottingham contract based in Eastwood is seeking Grounds maintenance / Gritting Operatives who will work in mobile teams maintaining sites for clients such as Waterloo Housing, Derbyshire Police, British Gypsum, Nottingham Community Housing, 22 Schools throughout Nottingham and from time to time on our high profile Country Park contract as well as smaller stand alone grounds contracts.The successful candidates will ideally have experience in horticulture and grounds maintenance and must have a full UK driver’s licence.Pa1/Pa6a spraying certificate and trailer towing are an advantage.The ideal candidate will also have previous experience in the use of ride-on and pedestrian grass cutting machinery along with other regularly used grounds maintenance equipment such as hedge cutters, strimmers and blowers. Knowledge of Landscape installation and machinery repair are also an advantage.Duties to include shrub pruning, hedge cutting, weed spraying and general horticultural maintenance. Along with the gritting requirement at this time of year. Excellent customer care skills and a ‘can do’ attitude are essential.
