Job Description
I live in Peebles and am looking for someone to come and offer me support in my own home, initially
with nutrition and wellbeing, eventually moving towards personal care and hygiene, once I feel
comfortable with the chosen person/s.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Ensuring that I can access my freezer and tumble dryer and that I have adequate food and clean clothing.
Someone to talk to and someone to help with my addictions and mental health, just by being there for me on the twice weekly visits.
Encouragement to engage with social supports and the local community. Personal attributes
Someone who is confidential and trustworthy. Someone who is able to deal with me even on a bad day. Cheerful with a good sense of humour. Honest and reliable. Hours of work
Two days per week, 45 minutes per visit – days and times are negotiable with client and PA. General
Experience in the care sector is preferred. PVG check preferable. The terms
£10.00 per hour. 5.6 weeks annual leave calculated on a pro-rata basis.
