RoleA local company is looking to add a Lighting Designer to their team.We are looking for the right candidate to start in March/Early AprilDuties and responsibilitiesAs a key part of the design team, you will be working with Private and commercial clients to help take a design from discussion through to reality.You will be producing Digital Drawings, quotations and understanding the needs that the client has to provide the best possible service to enhance the reputation of the company.You will also be involved in some of the sales and negotiation of the lighting products and will learn about the whole business.Skills and experienceWe are looking for someone who.- Is Creative with a specific eye for Design.- Has experience of using AutoCad and SketchUp (desired)- has sales and/or customer facing experience- Has excellent communication skills.Applicant must have a real passion for design, lighting has become very technical due to LED’s, we specialise in the control of light.You must have a creative mind and be able to envisage spatially, communicating the design visualisation of the clients scope and brief and negotiating their cost expectations.We expect you to work with the team and individually, our CAD and operational software allows for a degree of flexible working from home, on site and in the office.We cover an area from North of the Cotswolds, to the Thames Valley and into the South West, site visits and associated travel are all part of this exciting career opportunity.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £17,500.00-£25,000.00 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 (Required)Education:Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:lighting design: 1 year (Preferred)Licence/Certification:driving licence (Preferred)Willingness to travel:25% (Preferred)
