As a Stock Controller, you play a key part in the success of phs. Working behind the scenes your skills help keep our Warehouse running smoothly, which endeavour to make our Operations team run efficiently – ensuring they provide an excellent service to our valuable customers.
Working as part of a busy team, you will be responsible for the daily management of stock inventory. You will be analysing sales forecasts and demands to schedule, coordinate and purchase goods from our supplier base. Maintaining safety stock accuracy to optimize KPI targets and manage suppliers’ performance. The role is best suited to a self-motivated individual who is capable of working to deadlines.
A day in the life of a Stock Controller at phs will involve;
Evaluate item usage. Create forecasts. Manage safety stock levels. Place purchase orders via M3. Schedule deliveries. Supplier management and performance review. Provide sales support. Reconcile invoices. Item code set up.
The ideal candidate for a Stock Controller role at phs will:
Work proactively to KPI targets and deadlines. Experience in supply chain performance techniques. Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail. High standard of PC literacy. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Knowledge of the internal system is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to manage own workload.
In return for your commitment and expertise, you will get:
A salary between £22000 - £24000 depending on experience(Based on a 40-hour working week Monday to Friday).No scheduled weekend working. 13 paydays per year (Every 4 weeks).
