We have an exciting opportunity within the financial operations team for an Assistant in Accounts Payable.
The Role
This is an entry level role into Carnival's finance department. Carnival receives invoices from around the world for all types of services and goods, these are split out between Purchase orders and Non purchase orders. The main responsibility of this role will be to ensure timely and accurate data entry of the relevant invoices in line with departmental KPIs. You will also help support and resolve any issues that arise from an invoice not matching a Purchase order. In quieter periods you will be asked to help support other general office and admin related tasks. The Person
To be a success in this position, its preferable that you will have worked in a busy office environment before. You will need to be a positive team player who is able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Excellent business communication skills, as well as excellent numeracy capabilities would be preferable to the role. The successful candidate will have experience with large volume data inputting at a high level of accuracy and be comfortable with learning new systems.
