Rotating Shifts across seven days of the week - 40 hours per week. Between 5am start & 12:30am finish.
Own transport essential as this is a remote location.
Job purpose:
To be responsible for complying, implementing and auditing against our Quality Management System (QMS), this will involve product safety, legality and quality systems.
To have overall responsibility for quality checks from raw material to finished packed product.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities.
Employees have a duty to take care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by employees' actions at work. Employees must co-operate with employers and co-workers to help everyone meet their legal requirements.
Main responsibilities:
Implementation and auditing/inspection of QMS, good manufacturing practices, good hygienic practices and HACCP in the business. Effective management of non-conformance, ensuring root
cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions are completed for all non-conformance.
Complete trend analysis for all the audits/inspections and non-conformance. Assessing product starting from raw material to finished product for safety, legality and quality. Communicated any issues to the production managers, QA supervisor and/or factory technical
manager immediately.
Highlighting any out of specification occurrences, investigate, & document.To complete both backward and forward traceability exercise including mass balance as per the schedule and as and when required by the business.
Carry quality instrument calibrations.
Working conditions:
Working in a chilled environment (PPE available on request)Some lifting of weights - 6kg (Dependant on product this may be up to 25kgs with assistance). Ear protection mandatory.
